The Boathouse - a luxury timber framed annexe

A stunning waterside apartment in East Portlemouth overlooking the Salcombe Estuary with green Oak balcony and Cedar cladding. HUTI was engaged for a complete rebuild of an existing boathouse which will become a luxury 1 bed apartment. After stripping back to the ground and fitting a new insulated slab, an additional storey was added in timber construction which incorporated a steel frame to house 7m Sunflex sliding doors and support a cantilevered balcony. The exterior cladding is Canadian Yellow Cedar to echo the neighbouring boathouses.
